Owners

Kate is a Certified Practising Speech and Language Pathologist with over 14 years of experience working with children and young adults with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.
Kate obtained her Master of Speech and Language Pathology from Macquarie University before beginning work in Canberra in the not-for-profit and government sectors. Since moving to the Milton/Ulladulla area she has spent a number of years in the not-for profit sector. She is now the joint owner and director of Milton Therapy and Learning Centre.

Grad Cert Disability
Simon is a specialist educator with over 15 years working in schools in the ACT and NSW. He is joint owner and director of Milton Therapy and Learning Centre.
Simon has training in the MacqLit literacy program, the Rock and Water psychophysical social skills program, PEERS® social skills curriculum and the People First sexuality and relationships program.
He has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies at Flinders University.
Speech Pathology

Meg is a passionate Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and has recently returned to the area with her family. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Anna completed her Masters of Speech and Language Pathology at Macquarie University in 2019. She has experience working with children with learning difficulties and Autism Spectrum Disorder in a variety of settings including schools, community health and hospitals.

Elizabeth brings a wealth of knowledge with experience working as a Speech Pathologist in US schools. She has recently completed a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology with the University of Canberra. Elizabeth is a welcome addition to the team at Bay & Basin TLC.
Occupational Therapy

Sophie recently completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at University of Canberra. After working part time as an AHA with the TLC team she has now continued with the team as a fully qualified Occupational Therapist.

Casey is an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist who has experience working in adult and paediatric settings. She loves living in the Milton Ulladulla area.

Michelle is an accomplished Occupational Therapist with experience working with children within the special education, home, and early intervention settings. She has a particular interest supporting the areas of sensory integration and providing a play-based approach within her practice. Prior to working as a therapist, Michelle worked as a certified teacher in the US. She recently moved back to Australia, and is excited to support the wonderful families of this region.
Specialist Education

Having previously worked as a student wellbeing officer and mental health nurse, Ice brings extensive experience working with teens and young adults in; mental health, relationships, resilience and social communication. He is a qualified leader of emotional regulation and relationship programs and integrates outdoor education and martial arts into his therapeutic approach.
Early Intervention Therapy

Having worked as an early childhood teacher, adult educator, and behaviour support therapist, Renate has 30 plus years of experience sharing the learning journey with children, parents, carers and educators. Renate has an Education Degree in Early Childhood, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, a Certificate in Trauma informed Practice, a Diploma of Management and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace training. She is also an accredited Positive Parenting Practices Trainer-Level 4, and a Circle of Security Parent Facilitator, and has a particular interest in facilitating Self-regulation.
Music Therapy

Amy is an experienced and passionate registered music therapist. She is currently working remotely and sessions are available via Telehealth.
Allied Health Assistants

Alana is an experienced early childhood educator who brings energy, enthusiasm and experience working with younger children and their families. She supports our OTs and Speechies in delivering a range of programs.
Support Team

Mia is an experienced office allrounder with a background in hospitality and reception. She completed a Bachelor of Business at UTS in 2015 and her desire to help others has driven her to the healthcare industry, she has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management with UTS.

Caitlin’s is the first face you will see when you walk through the door of Bay & Basin TLC. She is organise, friendly and committed to supporting the families of the Bay & Basin area. She is an incredible support to our therapists and an integral part of the team.

Mandy is a very experienced receptionist and administrator who loves that this role allows her to support so many families in the area she grew up in.

Paige recently finished her administration traineeship at Milton TLC. She is now a valued part of our support team and the first face you will see when you come to our Milton centre.

Hagrid was in training to become a drug detection dog but his calm and gentle nature meant he was much better suited to the therapy dog life. He provides lots of cuddles to our clients and staff. Hagrid loves treats and chest scratches.
