Today is International Day for People with Disability. We were so happy to join the ‘Party in the Park’ celebration today. Celebrating this day gives us all an opportunity to be part of creating an inclusive and diverse community. The 2023 theme asks everyone to work together to make the world better and fairer for people with disability. It is so important that the voices of people with disability are central to this. We really love our work that relates to supporting children and adults to find their voice, know the power of their voice and to then go on and use their voice in their community. It is our absolute pleasure to welcome Ania to the TLC family in the role of Early Intervention Therapist. She is an experienced and passionate special needs educator with a wide range of experience working with children and their families. Early Intervention Therapists support younger children and their families as part of a transdisciplinary team alongside TLCs Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists. This is a great model that means that families have a single point of contact while having the support of a team of allied health professionals. We feel so fortunate that Ania has joined us. Welcome aboard!
